So, I spent some quality time in the dirt track pits for some friends. I love it there, I'm addicted to being at the track, the sound of the engines, the smell of the fuel and hot tires and pissed off engines.. mmhm.

Thought I'd share some of the highlights. Our car (#40) had a helluva good chance, but somehow the air filter got clogged up. Sucked balls bigtime, but even that we ended up with 5th. Car has a 454 Rocket... can't wait til August to run it again. Thinking about building a cruiser myself to run, hubby's up for it. This class is basically the halftime show, just for entertainment, but man it's a blast! Two people operate the car, the driver has the brakes and the passenger has the gas.

However, outside of the event actually taking place, that's really all I remember. Driver has the brakes and the passenger has the gas eh? That's oddly similar to a driving instructor's car for Asians.
